The people that power WHOSAY are an incredible blend of advertising, technology and media professionals that have been fostering a wonderful spirit of creativity, innovation and commitment since the company’s founding in 2010.
Today, on another edition of Getting to Know You, the series that casts the spotlight on the women and men who’ve helped make WHOSAY into the world’s largest and most-trusted influence marketer, you’ll get to know a little bit more of the man behind every WHOSAY campaign as our Head of Production. Behold Jason Bowers.
WHOSAY: What’s a typical day at WHOSAY like?
Jason Bowers: A typical day at WHOSAY is crazy AF. One minute I'm gearing up to shoot something in 7 days... the next minute it gets moved up to tomorrow 🙃. But I love the rush.
WS: What’s the most challenging part of your job? And what’s the part you enjoy the most?
JS: The most challenging part of my job is coping with being away from my husband when I travel. The part I enjoy the most about my job is traveling and getting away from my husband. 😁
On a serious note, I really enjoy the fact that every single campaign is different. From new initiatives to new talent to new directors, our creative environment is always changing.
WS: What is your role at WHOSAY?
JS: I am Olivia Pope. Jk. But I feel that way sometimes. I make sh*t happen. Head of Production at WHOSAY.
WS: Who’s the nicest icon, trailblazer, influencer or micro-influencer talent you’ve worked with at WHOSAY?
JB: This is such a hard question to narrow down to just one so I'll name my top five in no particular order: Liv Tyler, RuPaul, Zachary Quinto, Jay Pharoah, Emmitt Smith.
WS: Who is someone at WHOSAY that inspires you and why?
JB: To be honest everyone at WHOSAY inspires me in a different way. From presale to activation to media to talent to production to marketing, etc... Everyone is so damn good at their job. And that just makes me want to be the best I can be.
WS: What don’t most people know about you?
JB: I have the back of my neck pierced and I have a secret love for baby corn.
WS: What do you want to achieve in the near and/or long-term?
JB: Two things: 1. I really want to produce a brand-sponsored feature film... Oh, it's happening. Be ready WHOSAY. 2. To work with Britney Spears.
WS: Share your advice with aspiring young people who want to break into your industry.
JB: Always be nice. Always be grateful. Never give up. Never burn a bridge.
