WHOSAY Kicks Off Spring by Returning to NYFEST for a Great Cause

WHOSAY is proud to be a partner of NYFEST 2018, the media, advertising and entertainment industries’ soccer tournament co-sponsored by Tribeca Film Festival, which this year will take place on Saturday, April 21 at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 5 in New York City.

“Team WHOSAY is very excited to once again be partnering with NYFEST," said Stephen Glasco, WHOSAY’s Account Manager and captain of our football team. "Not only are we spending the day playing the beautiful game with coworkers and industry friends, but we're also raising money and awareness for a worthy cause. It's a win-win for everyone!"

This year, NYFEST will benefit Play Study Win, an organization that provides after-school programming to children from underserved communities in and around NYC at no cost to them, and Grassroot Soccer, an adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth in developing countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities. Go here, If you wish to help us reach our fundraising goal.

Last year, thanks to the help of the WHOSAY community, we were able to reach and exceed our fundraising goal to benefit America Scores, which made WHOSAY the recipient of the NYFEST 2017 Soccer Tournament America Scores Hustle Award.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Viacom Velocity, The Late Show, DigitasLBI, Comedy Central, Publicis, Digiday, Sony Pictures Classics, NYU and—of course—WHOSAY are some of the teams that will compete in three different categories. One team from each of three categories walks away with the trophy. For more information about the schedule, go here.

Hosted by The Cooligans, NYFEST 2018 promises to be a striking representation of the extraordinary connection between soccer and the creative community in the media center of the world—a fast-emerging global capital for the sport.
