Excited to share that all our UBER content is live!! This campaign was a collaboration between BET and UBER, centering around BETX weekend. WHOSAY collaborated with Teyana Taylor in a premium produced video series, pulling back the curtain on her pre-performance Uber ride — leading up to BETX at the Staples Center on June 22. Videos featured Teyana engaging in a dialogue with a female host (Amanda Seales from HBO’s Insecure), sharing her key to self-confidence, reflecting on her breakthrough success in the music industry, and revealing what is means to be a strong and unapologetic woman in today’s society. The conversation centered around Uber’s commitment to women empowerment and celebrating artists who have helped open doors and break glass ceilings.
Now for some car metaphors. It was a bumpy ride- with some twists and turns, backseat driving, and occasionally a struggle at the wheel. We had to be patient, flexible, and creatively pivot many times. Ultimately we reached our destination, and we have some happy clients and amazing content to show for it!
First, I want to say that this couldn’t have been done without a rock solid team. Even when there were multiple parties involved and LOTS of cooks in the kitchen, WHOSAY remained a unified front.
