Wesley Sneijder is a footballer who is a midfielder for the Dutch National team.
Wesley was born into a football family, and began his career at AFC Ajax's famous youth academy. In 2007, he was sold by Ajax to Real Madrid for 27 million euros—making him the second-most expensive Dutch footballer in history.
Wesley played as number 23 for Real Madrid until 2008, when he was changed to number 10. In 2009, he was traded from Real Madrid to Internazionale for 15 million euros. In 2010, he helped Inter win the Italian Super Cup against Roma, and was named by UEFA as the best club midfielder of the Champions League during the 2009-2010 season. In 2012, Wesley signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Turkish club Galatasary, and was welcomed by thousands of fans.
Wesley married actress, model, and presenter Yolanthe Cabau in 2010, and has a son named Jesse.
