USC Athletics Snapshot
USC athletics has one of the proudest collegiate traditions in the country with 116 team national championships, which ranks third most among American universities. The Trojans have featured some of the world's greatest athletes including more Olympians (392) and gold medalists (122) than any other school. The football program sits at the heart of Trojan pride and tradition. Since its inception in 1888, USC football has won 11 national championships and six Heisman trophies while winning over 70% of its games.
