Torica later signed to new music imprint, AOne Music Group (AMG). By late summer 2012, she released her debut album, A Beautiful Mess, a tale of falling in and out love, living it up, and self-acceptance. Her music resonates with people worldwide, especially young women.

In her own words, Torica describes what it is like being a woman in today’s world, “I think all women are superheroes in their own right and I feel like I’m the one who can identify with all girls & women. I’ve been in love, I’ve been hurt, I’m juggling a career, I’m making strides in a male-dominated industry, I’m my own boss, and I’m doing it humbly and gracefully in high heels. When women come to my shows and buy my music, I want them to feel like I’m reading their mind and singing about what’s really going in their lives and I want to give men a better understanding of us…I’m every woman...” -Torica
