Tim Allen

Tell Tim Allen you like this

March 7, 2012Just got a new phone- Droid Razr Maxx. First impressions are solid. Construction is industrial in the best way. The chassis says quality and has the feel of something hefty and cool. The Verizon software bloat is uncomfortable but can be disguised. This is the land of the free- I really need to make my own decisions on what I want on my devices. What would they need to charge me to have the option to have a rooted version? That said this phone performs very well. The speed and function is what one expects from a high end Android phone and Gingerbread is stable, workable and useful software. They expect an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich (I get to feeling real silly typing these names). Display opinions will be dictated by ones preferences. The Google Nexus seems a bit brighter and more intense but not so one would really make use of that difference. However this Razr Maxx is a clear winner in the single most important aspect to me…duration. This standard battery is a game changer. All day heavy use and still full battery…yes. This will be the benchmark from now on…. good thinking Motorola… real nice unit here in my hand. @motorola #DroidRazrMaxx
