David Beckham has decided to retire at the end of this season. Beckham has made a total of 550 appearances and scored 202 in his Club career and made 115 International appearances for England. Beckham won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and a Champions League with United, where he was voted PFA Young Player of the Year in 1997. Glenn Hoddle gave him an England debut in September 1996, to become his country's most-capped outfield player, 59 of 115 appearances coming as Captain.

Beckham says he wants to be remembered as "a hard-working footballer". No arguments with that.
