For the soon-to-be preacher’s wife, it is a bucket-list PCD show she just has to complete to celebrate her bachelorette party. Gorgeous movie star Meagan Good sizzled as a Pussycat Doll headlining at the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon inside Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood.
Meagan, known as a Hollywood hottie for her sexy roles,...She revealed that her decision to do the scantily clad dance number could cause a little discomfort to some.
DeVon’s not coming to watch but instead Meagan's "Mother-in-law" to be will be in attendance! The brown-eyed beauty currently starring in “Think Like a Man” confessed that the first time she will be intimate with her fiance will be on their wedding night. “The first time we’re actually together!" The couple reconnected on the set of ‘Jumping the Broom,’ after knowing each other as friends for six years - a film in which he produced,” Meagan said.
DeVon worked at a number of Hollywood entertainment studios and is now at Columbia Pictures/Sony. He is a Seventh-Day Adventist and says: “I have put my faith front and center for everyone to see. Not only has relying on my faith not harmed my career prospects, it has actually enhanced them. To get where you want to go, you first have to become the person God wants you to be.”
Named one of the Top 35 Hollywood executives under 35, DeVon is a preacher, motivational speaker and the bestselling author of “Produced By Faith.”
In an exclusive interview, the 30-year-old “Californication” actress told me: “I’m actually not going to undress. I’m going to be a Pussycat Doll, the OVERLY dressed Pussycat Doll. I am only going to be doing some burlesque dancing, but I WON'T be doing any stripping of clothes. Las Vegas will just see just a bit!
“Believe it or not, I’ve definitely had my share of lots of fun in Vegas over the last 10 years. This time my mom is coming; his mother is coming to the show. We are just going to hang out during the day by the pool and do a spa.
“I am going to wear the feathers and furs, but I am definitely not going to have my bottom or tummy hanging out. I will look sexy, and my clothes will be fitting, but I won’t be having any of my prized possessions hanging out. There will of course be a corset, stockings and high heels.
“He is not ecstatic about it, but it’s a bachelorette party. It’s the last time before I’m a married woman, and he understands that. He wants me to have fun and be happy and do the things that I want to do on my bucket list and not let people’s opinions of what I should and shouldn’t be doing control how we live our lives.
“I’ve seen the Pussycat Dolls and know Robin Antin. It triggered something in me that said I want to do it just once. It just seemed like so much fun, and I think every woman should get the chance to do it once and just feel beautiful, feel sexy, have fun, learn some choreography and steal the show.”
I congratulated Meagan on the upcoming wedding and her box office success. “It’s been a blessing. It is pretty awesome. ‘Think Like a Man’ was a blessing because it was No. 1 in the country for two weeks straight. Now I’m going to start a show called ‘Infamous.’
When I asked her if it was unusual for a Hollywood star to spend her life with a preacher, she replied, “I’ve always been very spiritual. I love God with all my heart. I think sometimes people get a little confused because of characters that I’ve played, but I have a real heart for young women, and I believe if I do movies that promote a human experience that I can be more helpful in real life when I go and talk to young girls in foster homes who have been sexually abused or in jail.
“I just try to not judge the characters that I play and create a way that I can talk to girls and they don’t feel judged, because they feel like I’ve been there based on what they feel that they know about me. DeVon is also a Sony executive, so we both have our foot in both things.
“He loves God as much as I love God, so Although we to different approaches to effecting people according to our beliefs, we are on the same page and the same team... We both are very spiritual and understand not everyones going to get "us" but we enjoy art and every aspect of making movies and me being in movies, so it is hand in hand.”
