Marc St Vil has been working with J/P HRO since the organization launched its relief operation in 2010. Mark is seen by his colleagues as an extraordinary, selfless person, who works tirelessly, without a break to ensure that the clinic is operating smoothly.
Marc started as a Triage Officer at the Pétionville Camp, and then was chosen to train for the Emergency Medical Team program. He was among the three first laureate as an EMT. Today, he is the radiology technician, and a dynamic and personable liaison officer between the medical staff and the patients.
“Marc has always put his heart and soul in the daily activities of J/P’s Medical Program,” says Dr. Micheline Baguidy, Medical Director. “His shift finishes at 4 pm, most days, yet he works long hours and never complaines. Sometimes, it will be past 10 p.m. and Marc is still on duty assisting with transfer at very far hospitals.
Marc is know for always being among the first on site when there is an accident. He supports and encourages his coworkers with a positive and optimistic attitude. His contributions to J/P are invaluable and we are lucky to have him in our J/P HRO family.

Congratulations to the Employee of the month for September 2014: Kendy André!
Kendy has worked for quite some time in the HR department, but has not been very visible for many of us until recently. I now see a young man who has grown a lot in the past few months, and has become far more visible. He shows confidence in the work he is doing, demonstrates customer service, and creates a good relationship between the HR department and others in the organisation. He is hard-working and cheerful. He is also demonstrating cross-cutting initiatives and ideas to promote the values of J/P HRO.
