#momentsfrom2013 No. 4. As much as I loved being in England working on #GotG, it was awful lonely at first, having just broken up with a girlfriend, and with no close friends or family around. I can often be a loner by nature and I'm generally not familiar with feelings of loneliness at all. But in that situation I felt that particular melancholy for the first time. Fortunately, right before shooting, my brother Sean moved to England. He was hired to act in the movie, but he moved into my house as well. You might think it would cause friction, two grown brothers becoming roommates after so many years apart - but it was one of the most fun parts of my year. And he (along with Rooker, who moved there shortly thereafter) helped to alleviate any loneliness, both the kind that comes from being on a continent that isn't home, as well as the general alienation that comes from being a director in charge of hundreds of people. And when Chris Pratt moved in next door, the party really began! In this particular photo, Sean is with our pal Betty the Coati, who came by our place for a visit.
