Today's session was hard :/
I did lying leg curl Super set with seated lateral raises followed by 15 sec dead treads, straight leg deadlifts super set with elevated press ups followed by more dead treads :/ long stride lunges super set with over head cable Extentions and yup, you guessed it, more dead treads (I almost puked on this one) then to finish I did a 10 min ab circuit. Working in a Superset fashion basically means you perform a minimum of 2 exercises back to back without any rest. This style of training suits me and is personally one of my favourites as its a great way to reduce the time my workout would normally take. Plus it shocks my system through a variable change, rest period etc that my body is not used too. This in turn will produce great results through increased lactic acid production and its great for fat burning too! So, if you haven't already I suggest you give it a try! :)
Those twatty couples who dress the same on holiday make me cringe....
What could possibly go wrong?
Behind the scenes on this mornings shoot. Such lovely dresses! One lucky lady 😊
LEFT PIC = poor diet, odd bit of cardio now and again, late nights & a love of one too many nights out boozing 😜 I looked okay but I felt so tired all the time & had very little energy. I was moody, emotional and my skin was dry. I also suffered from daily headaches. RIGHT PIC = Clean diet, weight training, still the odd bit of cardio but not so many late nights or nights out. I have so much more energy, my skin is glowing, I sleep great and I feel in an all around great mood 99% of the time 😊 although on the outside i looked like I didn't have much weight to loose, internally, my body wasn't as healthy as it could be & mentally I wasn't as happy as I could be. If Id of known then that by simply taking the time out to push my body, challenge myself and eat good food would have made me feel this way, I would have started way back! I've been training on & off for around 5 years but I've been training properly & eating clean (allowing myself the odd treat) for almost 2yrs and the benefits have been above and beyond. Both physically & mentally. I became a better version of ME, you can become the better version of YOU. Go & do it!!!!! Thanks @ollyfosterfitness for all your help, guidance & support. Here's to our next 8wk challenge! 👍
This chap @ollyfosterfitness is becoming my official roomie in a month... Eeeeek! Could go either way... I'm quiet messy 😜
I had to really, really force myself to train today. I did my INSANITY Pure cardio at home at 3pm. I'm usually in and out of the gym by 10am. That's how unmotivated I was. Plus I was still feeling rough as I was out on sat night. I hardly ever drink now so when I occasionally do, I have terrible hangovers 😷 it would have been easy for me to slob on the couch & not train but I was determined to NOT be that person. I wasn't going to start the week by missing my training session. Yes it was harder then usual, yes I didn't enjoy it as much as usual but I did it! I feel so much better for it too. As the saying goes "pull your shit together and go work out" it really does work wonders 💪
I loved those dungarees 😊
