Life and art. Thanks to all who have shared these books with your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Visit to the Grassy Knoll in Dallas caught me profoundly off-guard when I saw the "X" on the ground where JFK's head exploded. On the lighter side, I will say the Decoded book signing also brought out a woman who asked to be notified when I'm single, a writer who talks about me in her erotic fiction, and a little old lady who leaned in close and whispered, "You're my number one after Pat Sajak. And Pat Sajak's my hero." The moral of the story: I've got plenty of prom dates in Texas.
What's more absurd: that this fancy hotel does personalized shampoo...or that they think I need shampoo?
In DC, snuck in a trip to the National Archives, which is my version of the Playboy mansion. Plus, they let me break the rules and take a picture of the Declaration of Independence with my favorite book. Tomorrow, headed to the grassy knoll (true).
Best part of green rooms: Hi, Cliff Clavin. I'll trade you a new Decoded book for you calling my kids as Hamm from Toy Story (or every Pixar film). #wish
Flew back from NY to make today's Lego Club. Youngest son demanded we dress up for today's Star Wars theme. Then, Lego announced Star Wars trivia contest. Did we win? C'mon. Twice.
