NEW info - a death has been reported related to all the flooding. The coroner says Kimberly Michelle Jackson age 36 was found in a drainage ditch - she and a male passenger were swept away by flood waters after their car stalled - there is a search for the male passenger who was with her.
The coroner wrote:
"The Coroner's Office was requested to respond to a wooded area behind Haywood Crossing Plantation Apartments where a female body was found in a drainage ditch/creek. It was learned that the victim and another male subject had gotten out of a car that had stalled in a flooded area and were swept away by rising flood waters. The other subject has not been located at this time, and a search is ongoing. An autopsy will be performed on 8/11/14. This case is an ongoing investigation by Greenville Fire Department, Greenville City Police, and the Greenville County Coroner's Office."
