@ETSY is cool, but it's also full of creative crazies. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a baby zombie reindeer death creature peeking out from behind your loveseat scaring the daylights out of your dinner guests. Happy Merry!
Boo. Taking pics. I'm in a grumpy mood tonight -- just seasonal blahs and general fatigue?
Anyway, snagged these lovelies recently. Decided to try them on to cheer myself up. Love that they are long enough but woahhhhhhh they're lowwwww ^.^ #RetailTherapy is real.
Pants: Toxic Vision Low rise studded stretch leather.
Top: Rolling Stones/The Who concert 2005 lol!
CHECK THIS CHICA OUT: Join me in cheering on my @MTVsMADE buddy, Cynthia!!! She lost over 30 pounds (and is getting tighter day by day) simply by being REAL with herself, staying consistent, sticking with it and by NOT MAKING EXCUSES -
HISTORY: Some of you might remember, I met and worked with "Cindy" years ago when I was coaching on MTV's MADE program. She was 16, I was a royal pain in the ass.
Post MTV, Cindy tells me that the weight crepppt back on in the years following. Work. Life. Time constraints. No fitness model harpy bugging you every cotton-pickin' day about the treadmill lol.
When we are dissatisfied with something - anything, we make changes so that we can become satisfied, right? Cindy already knew what she had to do to do it again...all that was left was TO DO IT.
Cynthia proves that all that we, YOU, have to do is to look in the mirror and say to yourself one day, "I want to take this body, my health and my life in control. I am ready to bring my fitness to the NEXT level. And it is HIGH TIME that I made myself accountable."
Do. IT. By the way, I do plan to harass you with at least one post a week to remind you all that we are in the midst of the "4 horses of the holiday "food-ocalypse": Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. Wow, I crack myself up at 4 am.
Enjoy yourself this season, but keep it in check by sticking to your program. No crash diets. Pick up something heavy. Sugar is not your "BFF." Everyone is "busy." Stop slacking.
Excuses or results. You choose.
It's HARD getting your workouts in when the days are shorter and the temperatures have dropped...AND when the "food holidays" (starting with Halloween candy) are well under way....
During the colder seasons, you really have to PUSH yourself to stay on track - you have to go the extra mile. For my part, I am going to defy my natural "vampire-fitness-NESS" and start getting my workouts in earlier in the day. Bonus is, it'll be out of the way AND I'll actually see more sunlight O_O #ImTaupeWTF
Push yourself. Because it's WAY TOO EASY to say, "I'll go tomorrow" during the holidays. -AM
