Scotty K. Snapshot
Scotty K. has been working in the dance music field as a DJ & Music Producer & Remixer for around 15 years, having worked on some of the hottest releases for some of the biggest recording artists working in the music industry today.

Originally from New York City, Scotty K. made his way into DJing in nightclubs through many private events and functions, where he quickly became one of the most sought-after mainstream and popular dance music DJs in the city.

Scotty K. made is way to Los Angeles in 2000, where in just one year he managed to become one of the most talked-about “new” DJs to appear in Los Angeles. He was quickly snatched up by the owners and managers of HERE Lounge in West Hollywood and helped to make it the hottest, new club in the Los Angeles area in just a few months. The Los Angeles Times called Scotty K. “…one to watch for in the Los Angeles nightclub scene.”

Soon after he made his mark in the club scene, Ellen Degeneres hired him to be her DJ and on-camera side-kick for her now hugely successful daytime talk show. Scotty K. helped to redefine what daytime talk shows sounded like and from that became known worldwide.

Upon leaving “The Ellen Degeneres Show”, Scotty K. poured his energy and passion into producing music. He already had a love for dance music. So, he challenged himself to produce dance remixes. He hit a home-run right out of the park with the monster dance hit, “Dive”, which was written and performed by Debby Holiday. From there, Scotty K. went on to apply the success of that into making DJ appearances all over the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, San Diego as well as cities outside the U.S., including Sydney (Australia), Mexico City (Mexico) and Sao Paulo (Brazil).

He furthered his production work accomplishments and has continued producing some of the most popular dance remixes in the last 10 years, including tracks by: Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Madonna, Kelly Rowland, The Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Kelis, Britney Spears, Taylor Dayne and many, many more. In all, Scotty K. has produced over 25 dance remixes for releases that have hit #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club Play Chart.

Scotty K. is constantly looking to explore new styles of dance music and has proven himself time and time again in the areas of big-room anthems, soulful & disco house music to more progressive house music to compliment today’s dance music expectations. There are many more things to come from this shining star in the dance music scene. Stay tuned…
