Omar Todd's photo: Big Day Out today at the Perth Claremont Grounds. Saw Yeah Yeah Yeah, The Killers and ofcourse the big one, Chili Peppers. But I mostly had fun with the girls at the Sea Shepherd Stall and Jeff Hansen and his lovely wife being briefly squashed in the near centre of the mosh pit! Jeffy was trying to get some pictures of the cool SSCS Logo and images the Chili Peppers display on the mega screens! We also did a roaring trade at the Stalls and a thief nicked a T shirt, but I chased after him for a few hundred meters and caught him and sadly he has switched with 2 of his accomplices so there was no evidence, but I made sure he knew what I thought of him stealing from a charity! I do NOT think he expected the reaction. Lisa Rosie tells the story better. ;-) oh and some random guy kissed me on the lips! YUK! So yeah, a good 41st Birthday over all and now I wait intently to news and to react if and when as needed to our Fleet's needs in the southern oceans. Will it be days, weeks or sooner......... Calm before the storm!
