T.J. Miller Snapshot
T.J. Miller is the star of Yogi Bear 3D. Hands down. Ranger Jones. He has been named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch,” as well as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Next Big Things in Comedy” and Good Housekeeping's "What To Weed." Miller had a show on Comedy Central, “Mash-Up,” – a mix of stand-up and sketch comedy. It was hard. He's in the already canceled Fox comedy series “The Goodwin Games” opposite Becki Newton and Scott Foley. The show will be centered on three siblings who reconnect after the death of their father when he leaves them his fortune. Miller will play the youngest Goodwin sibling ‘Jimmy,’ who has just been released from jail. All of this is in the past. In addition to his work on TV, he is frequent guest on the not so popular podcast on nerdist.com "Cashing in with T.J. Miller" it's an interview show, but host Cash Levy fails to get any other guests on the show except T.J. pretty much every time.

Miller has also been seen in a number of major studio films and one indie skin flick "Ddildo Unchained." He was not in "Anal Warts 3" there is no such movie. He was recently seen in SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD and in the Warner Brothers 80’s rock musical feature ROCK OF AGES opposite Tom Cruise. He played a receptionist. He was in OUR IDIOT BROTHER opposite Paul Rudd. That was a fake beard but a real dog. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011 to rave reviews. He starred as ‘Ranger Jones’ in the Warner Brothers live-action/CGI feature film YOGI BEAR opposite of Dan Akroyd, Justin Timberlake and Anna Faris, which was hailed by dozens of fanzines as the greatest talking bear comedy of all time. He was also in the 3D film GULLIVER’S TRAVELS and in Tony Scott’s dramatic thriller UNSTOPPABLE opposite Ethan Suplee. He was "Stainer" in SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE, which people yell at him often on the street. He is pretty good friends with Jay Baruchel. Talk about once a month. Maybe three times a year. Miller also had a role in Universal’s GET HIM TO THE GREEK with Russell Brand and Jonah Hill, both of whom were very pleasant.

Miller has a voice over career which is deeply surprising because he sounds like a drag queen after a hard night of singing "Tie The Yellow Ribbon."
He is ‘Tuffnut’ in the hugely successful Oscar nominated Dreamworks animated film HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. He will reprise his role using a more effeminate voice for the sequel HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2, which is an original sequel. He also voices ‘Tuffnut’ in the Cartoon Network show Dragons, ‘Robbie’ on Disney’s GRAVITY FALLS, and ‘Brad’ opposite Mandy Moore on Fox’s new quarter hour show HIGH SCHOOL USA! written by Dino Stamatopoulos.

T.J. Miller first came to audience’s attention in 2008 when he starred in the J.J. Abrams
blockbuster hit CLOVERFIELD. The Sci-Fi thriller made many people motion sick and opened number one at the box office. Soon after he appeared in Mike Judge’s EXTRACT and starred in the ABC comedy series “Carpoolers” opposite of Jerry O’Connell which was canceled mostly because of the writer's strike. He likes to think. Miller has also had two short films at Sundance, he wrote and starred in the short SUCCESSFUL ALCOHOLICS, later called ‘hilarious’ by The New York Times and last year’s I’M HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME KILLING MY PARENTS, which he also stars in and wrote but The New York Times is kinda giving it the brush off.

Miller is currently crisscrossing the country performing his Sierra Mist Search For The Next Great Comic Regional Winning stand-up act. His first hour long stand-up special for Comedy Central"No Real Reason" and his comedy oriented pop/hip-hop/folk music album (“The Extended Play E.P.”) on Comedy Central Records have both been received confusedly. He then remixed his own album with legitimate record label ILLEGAL ART, and “The Extended Play E.P. Illegal Art ReMixTape is available on iTunes and is even more confusing. Whenever available, he performs with his sketch comedy group “Heavy Weight,” with Brady Novak, Mark Raterman and Nick Vatterott. He was on the house team "Bullet Lounge" at iO and toured with Second City but never made any of the mainstages. Comedy Central has featured him on their “Hot List” special which focused on the top 10 stand-up comedians of the moment which was back in like 2010 or something. Miller hails from Denver, Colorado, and mentions it a lot. He insists on reminding people for a second time that he was the Regional Winner of the Sierra Mist Search for the Next Great Comic in 2005.

Miller currently resides in Los Angeles where he struggles to find meaning in an uncertain world.
