Nickelodeon’s hit television series iCarly. Now a series regular, Gibby’s cult following and
popularity continues to soar and was punctuated when Nick introduced iCarly fans to Gibby’s
adorable little brother, Guppy, played by Noah’s brother Ethan Munck. Both characters were the
only cast members who Trended on Twitter during iCarly’s season 3 movie special iPsycho. The Kid’s Choice Award-winning Munck was nominated again in 2011 for both Funniest TV Sidekick and Favorite TV Show.
Munck made his feature film debut in 2011 as the foul-mouthed tough-guy Ryan Tucker in The Rainbow Tribe. Directed by Dan Frisch Munck co-stars with actors David James Elliot (Jag), Max Burkholder (NBC’s Parenthood and Daddy Day Care), and Grayson Russell (Diary of a Wimpy Kid). In 2011, Munck also makes a triumphant return as TruGreen’s spokesman Bobby Sinclair™,
the Neighborhood Lawn Kid™ starring once again as the junior lawn-mowing entrepreneur in
their second national multimedia advertising campaign. The positive consumer response and
outpouring of feedback prompted the company to hire Noah as their teen spokesperson.
Munck first broke into the entertainment business as a commercial actor at age 10 with a
Volkswagen spot followed by national Got Milk? and Kellogg’s campaigns. Shortly thereafter the talented young actor co-starred in several television series including All of Us (Warner Bros.), American Body Shop (Comedy Central) and 1321 Clover (CBS Paramount) and has guest starred in Rules of Engagement, Wizards of Waverly Place, and ER.
Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Munck is the eldest of five siblings and credits his sister for introducing him to acting. After seeing how much fun his sister was having in her improv class, Munck decided that he would be enrolled as well. Encouraged by his sister and his improv teacher, Munck decided that he wanted to pursue acting professionally.
“I seriously have the greatest parents in the world--they keep it real but are so fun to hang with. Having 3 younger brothers and a sister to come home to is the best, I’m just Noah to them. They sacrifice a lot for me to be a part of this, but my parents do everything to include the whole family on this adventure. My iCarly family also embraces our large family, they even cast my youngest brother Ethan as Guppy, Gibby’s little brother on the show,” shares Munck.
The son of a full time mom and a pastor, Munck’s favorite school subject is Math. In his free
time, he enjoys reading books and graphic novels, swimming, playing football, video games,
and working out. In the future Munck will be producing, directing, and writing his own projects.
