Kicking off 2011 with a bang, Michelle was ABC's official digital host for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, where she interviewed performers like Willow Smith, Drake, Avril Lavigne, Neyo, and Train. A few months prior, Michelle co-hosted the American Music Awards Live Red Carpet Pre-Show for Dick Clark Productions, streaming live worldwide. At the AMA's, she represented VEVO as a music expert and served as the official backstage correspondent for the show. Michelle has also become familiar in the Sports world. As a correspondent for Yahoo! Sports, Michelle got an exclusive interview with Carmelo Anthony, moments before his trade to the NY Knicks. She was recently the official live host for Nike at their Los Fearless basketball tournament over All-Star weekend, and Xbox's host at ESPYs Style Studio.
For 3 1/2 years, Michelle was a Host and Producer for Young Hollywood, and became an instrumental part in the growth of the brand. Her interviews were regularly featured on TV Guide Online, Yahoo! Sports, People.com, and Yahoo! OMG. In addition, Michelle's work aired on TV shows such as: "Entertainment Tonight," "Extra," "The Daily 10," "Chelsea Lately," and FOX's "Good Day LA." Michelle wore multiple hats at the company,
performing various duties such as booking talent interviews, writing/producing segments, developing show ideas, and overseeing editors through final stages of post-production.
Michelle has interviewed countless celebrities including: Justin Bieber, Jessica Alba, Diddy, Heidi Klum, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Lebron James. As the talent producer at Young Hollywood, she always had her eye on rising talent. In turn, she became the first on-camera host to interview Lady Gaga and Cory Monteith (Glee), before they broke out. Through the years, Michelle has developed a personal rapport with many celebrities. Her authenticity always shines through, allowing them to easily drop their guard and share their stories with her.
Prior to Young Hollywood, Michelle was the host of “Street Tuner Challenge” on FOX’s SPEED Channel. She also traveled across the nation as a live host and spokesperson, representing major corporations in the automotive, electronics, gaming and music industries.
Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and is a Southern California native. Growing up, she trained in piano and violin, and developed a strong affinity for music and entertainment. For 15 years, Michelle excelled in dance, with an emphasis in Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Ballet. A former professional dancer, her passion has always been performing and being in the spotlight.
