  • 04 July 2011 I took a road trip through South Texas recently. This is the cover of the independent monthly paper in Laredo, Texas. I'll admit that I'm often baffled by political cartooning, but I've never been more confused in my life than the twelve minutes I spent trying to figure this out. I can't decide if it's the worst or best thing I've ever seen.
  • 09 June 2011 Surprisingly, I have done more than one cartoon featuring Canada Geese. Does that make me a bird nerd?
  • 18 January 2012 I asked one of the puppies if she knew what Italy looked like...
  • 02 July 2011 So, here's my original caption. It may look familiar because SOMEONE on here tried to pull a fast one. They found where I had posted this cartoon a while back on my tumblr blog and then tried to pass the caption off as their own. Very sneaky. I spotted it and hid it, but the damage may have already been done. I thought about trying to come up with a new caption, but instead, took a nap.
  • 25 April 2012 Here's another drawing I did for the series "If Cowboys Were Smaller" for The Believer Magazine, but this one wasn't used. You have to look closely to see the little saddle.
  • 29 July 2011 CAPTION CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED! Thanks for playing another exciting round of the Diffee Caption Contest Home Game. I will announce the winner here, then I will “like” the captions below that I liked and leave a brief comment under the ones I particularly liked. Okay, this week’s winner, who will receive the original drawing in the mail is: Bob Craigmile with “…and a reminder that the museum cafeteria special today is mashed potatoes.” Congratulations, Bob. I usually wait till Saturday to post my own caption, but since today is the official close of Spork Week, I will re-post this cartoon with my original gag at quitting time today. Thanks, everyone!
  • 21 September 2011 Walking around Chinatown with @DrewDernavich. We think this sign is kind of funny.
  • 29 July 2011 My original caption for this week's spork-related cartoon caption contest...
  • 16 January 2012 All three puppies doing what they do best. Actually, second best. They're also quite adept at "business."
  • 23 June 2011 Ok, I added the slogan, but the plane's paint job is for real. Part of a promotional campaign in 2009. Keep it classy, Southwest!
  • 24 April 2012 This is one in a series of drawings I did for this month's Believer Magazine by McSweeney's. The series is titled, "If Cowboys Were Smaller." I think tiny cowboys would do pretty well riding armadillos as long as they didn't try to cross the road on one.
