Matthew Diffee's photo: This week's Diffee cartoon caption contest winner... sheesh, tough decision. The best bunch of gags yet. The three that made me smile the most were… “Good news! Your prostate looks great!” by Jess Purviance. “Says here you’re complaining of a splitting headache.” By Craig Baldo and “Lay off the greasy foods and drink plenty of fluids.” By Daniel Carlton. But the winner, as much for this caption as for showing consistent quality over several of the last few weeks is… Jess Purviance! Special mention goes out to Chris Seats for another solid showing, Barry L. Edward who had one good one and at least one bad one (Ha), Jon McLachlan with the unique "vital organ" take, Alvaro Baeza (feller bunchers? Is that a thing?), and Chris Bulock, and Herbert Longtry who handled the “oblivious Doctor” angle in two different, but equally good ways (you gotta love a Pontiac Fiero reference) Thanks for playing, everyone! I’ll post my original caption for this one tomorrow.
