At just 13 years old, Mason Cook has made quite an impact on film and television.
Mason recently filmed a network TV pilot for ABC called SPY - a US adaptation of the British hit series of the same name. Mason plays “Marcus Elliot,” the highly intelligent son of Tim (Rob Corddry), whose father inadvertently takes a job at the CIA in order to prove himself worthy to his family.
Next for Mason was the pivotal role of “Will” in the Walt Disney summer blockbuster feature film THE LONE RANGER, directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Johnny Depp that hit theaters July 3, 2013.
Earlier this year, Mason was seen on the big screen alongside Steve Carell and Jim Carrey in the New Line Cinema feature film, THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE.
Other notable roles for Mason include the lead role of “Eddie Munster” in the 2012 NBC television pilot, MOCKINGBIRD LANE, directed by Bryan Singer (X-MEN FIRST CLASS: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST) which aired as a critically-acclaimed Halloween special in October 2012. Mason made a memorable appearance as a guest on THE ELLEN SHOW while promoting the Halloween special.
In 2011, Mason hit theaters as “Cecil Wilson” in the highly popular family film, SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD. The movie is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD.
Mason made his acting debut as “Casey,” a cardiac asthmatic patient on ABC’s hit series GREY’S ANATOMY. Mason's numerous television appearances include recurring roles on THE MIDDLE (ABC) and RAISING HOPE (FOX). He has also appeared on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (ABC), CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS), HOT IN CLEVELAND (TV LAND), MONDAY MORNINGS (TNT) and VICTORIOUS (Nickelodeon.)
Aside from acting, Mason enjoys hip hop dancing, skateboarding, surfing, and raising awareness and funds as a Junior Ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cf.org.)
