06 May 2012 What an awesome way to end my week on the road! I was nervous about singing at my 1st "Women of Joy" event, but the ladies of Myrtle Beach made me feel right at home! I even got to spend a few hours at the beach w/ my band, for whom I am so thankful for! Jesus is evident in their lives on AND off the stage. For example, this pic is of 2 of my singers (Laura & Myshel) praying w/ a total stranger on the beach today! Love that!

26 June 2011 Today I went to see my girl Melinda Doolittle in concert in our hometown of Nashville. IMO, she is 1 of the best singers to ever grace the American Idol stage & she threw down today! But the best moment of her concert was when she left the stage to go down front to dance w/ a man who had been dancing the whole show. But no one was prepared for what happened next!

28 December 2011 Said goodbye to grandma & am flying back to Nashville today. In other news, several months ago I posted about my lack of motivation to floss & several of you got on me about the importance of it. Let's just say grandma gave me all the motivation I needed (see picture)!
