Lorenzo James Henrie Snapshot
Lorenzo recently wrapped the lead role of ‘Mique’ on a feature film, shot in
Puerto Rico, called RIDING ’79. Lorenzo plays an American teen who is sent
off to live with his grandfather and grandma in Puerto Rico after the death of his
father.

Lorenzo started acting at age eight and had his first feature film debut in a film
called ARIZONA SUMMER. Playing the lead role of ‘Jerry,’ in this fun-filled kid's
summer camp movie, Lorenzo won over the heart of the film as ‘Jerry’ comes to
terms with a father who has no time for him, and a mother who abandoned the
family.

Lorenzo went on to work on various roles in television including a recurring role
on the WB, 7th HEAVEN, playing ‘Jeffrey,’ the adopted son to ‘Chandler,’ played
by actor Jeremy London and girlfriend ‘Kendall,’ played by Leighton Meester. He
would soon work alongside Leighton again in a guest star role on CSI Miami.

Other guests star roles include COLD CASE, MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE,
WANTED, LAX with Heather Locklear; as well as a favorite amongst many,
Lorenzo plays yet another heart-warming role in GHOST WHISPERER, with
Jennifer Love Hewitt, playing the role of ‘Rat,’ the leader of a pact of boys from
the 1950’s, whose lost spirits perished in an orphanage fire.

In 2009, Lorenzo James was cast in JJ Abram’s, STAR TREK feature film
playing a Volucan bully, and at age 16 landed the leading role of ‘Ted Wheeler,’
in the film called ALMOST KINGS, alongside Portia Doubleday and Alex Frost,
which had its world wide feature debut at the 2010 LA Film Festival.

Hollywood Reporter, June 29 edition, reporter Kirk Honeycutt wrote the following
about Lorenzo and his co star performance in ALMOST KINGS:

“Henrie and Ramm stand out as the two freshmen who must experience a
sharp learning curve their first year, and that's not in the classroom. Henrie
often needs little if any dialogue to convey a welter of emotions he is going
through when the full realization of his brother's many betrayals becomes
increasingly clear to his character. Ramm also conveys much with looks or
gestures. These two might be the real discoveries in the film.”
