May 26, 2012dear #30dayhomies , im currently on day 12, & wanted 2 share w/u some complaining ive held in thus far. week 1 my bod was surprisingly resilliant, i was only mildly sore, but i was really cranky. that lasted a few days, then i started to feel a high from my workouts, & thats remained. spinning is the hardest thing for me. i am by far the worst in my class. which is hilarious and embarrassing. the dude on the bike next to me, who was at best 300lbs was blowing me out of the water today. i took SoulCycle, & the classes r somewhere btwn my worst nightmare & the best new years party ive ever attended. the music is SO loud, and people get up and dance and shit. the teacher flicks the lights on and off like we r at the club. at first i though- toots, this is NOT The club, so knock it off. but now i kind like it. its so weird & awesome. only about 10% of the people have actual weight issues, everyone else is in hot shape & they seem intimidating. but then you notice everyone is wildly friendly and supportive & the better spinners help the newbies. this is a pic from my 2nd class, i cried during the cool down, cuz i was exhausted & annoyed & stunned at how infectiously nice everyone in class was. clearly i needed a minute. dont give up. lets hit 30 together. #30dayhomies
