  • 25 October 2012 We are working to provide each family with immediate assistance. Our clinics, J/P1 and J/P2, are open and receiving patients. We already had two cases of Cholera that we've responded to.
  • 26 August 2012 J/P staff and volunteers distributed tents to camp residents who lost their shelters and repair materials to individuals who suffered sever damage to their shelters. #haiti #isaac
  • 24 October 2012 At J/P we support the use of rubble to rehabilitate the urban areas of Haiti. J/P is providing residents of the Petion-Ville area with opportunities that have direct and significant impact in their lives. On a daily basis more than 50 participants attend vocational and business management training and produce construction materials, such as cobble stones, at Morne Hercule and Morne Lazard.
  • 08 September 2011 Maxime takes us on a brief tour of the first grade and kindergarten class at Ecole de L'Espoire. Ecole de L'Espoire is the J/P HRO operated K through 6 school that serves 262 of the children living in Petionville Camp.

  • 19 October 2012 Everyday, the Engineering team is progressing with the demolition of the National Palace. More than 4,000m3, approximately 250 trucks, of rubble has already been removed from the site.

  • 20 August 2012 The Engineering Program provides jobs to the people in the community their work in. Hundreds of Haitians are working on the field today in Petion-Ville, Delmas, Nerette and Jacket Toto.

Spécialement le département médical, kay kominote, la relocalisation et l’équipe de protection. Grace à votre support, maintenant nous avons une bibliothèque à l’école qui permettra à nos élèves non seulement d’enrichir d’avantage leur connaissance mais aussi d’améliorer leur langage surtout dans la langue française.
  • 28 August 2012 The Camp & Relocations team along with the Protection and Communications team are preparing tickets for tarp distribution on Thursday. These tarps will benefit approximately 2000 families in camp who have lost their home after the storm. #isaac #haiti
