November 4, 2011Here's a fresh, fun breakfast idea! Top a container of nonfat plain Greek yogurt with deliciously sweet & tart pomegranate seeds. Pomegranate seeds (called "arils") are rich in vitamin C and loaded with powerful antioxidants that may help boost heart health and protect against cancer. This breakfast combo provides about 200 cals, 32g carbs, 15g protein, 1.5g fat & 6g fiber. *I'll post photos next showing you how to de-seed a fresh, whole pomegranate so you can enjoy this at home!
