Combine 1 cup healthy, whole-grain cereal (Multigrain Cheerios, Kashi Heart to Heart, Kix etc.) with 1 TB nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts etc.) and 1 TB dried fruit (raisins, cherries, cranberries etc.). Using cereal as the base bumps up the volume so you get a generous portion for about 200 cals or less! That's a nice calorie bargain compared to most storebought trail mixes.
