September 14, 2012Check out Johannah's breakfast: Pumpkin-Chia Oatmeal! Combine 1/2 c rolled oats and 1 c water in bowl and microwave according to package directions. Add 1/2 c canned pumpkin puree, 2 tsp maple syrup, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp vanilla (also add up to 1/2 cup water if thick). Mix thoroughly and microwave until hot, 1-2 mins. Garnish with optional 1 TB chopped nuts. Perfect for fall!
