July 17, 2012Take advantage of cherry season to make these delicious Cherry-Vanilla Yogurt Pops! In a microwave-safe container, combine 2 TB sugar and 2 TB water and microwave for 1-2 mins, or until sugar is just dissolved. Add the sugar syrup to a blender along with 2 cups pitted/halved cherries, 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt, 3/4 skim or 1% milk, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and pour into pop molds; freeze solid. Makes 10 pops. 1 pop = 50 cals, 0g fat, 9g carb, 8g sugar, 0.5g fiber, 3g protein, 20mg sodium
