John Stamos is an actor and musician best known for his role as heartthrob and Elvis fanatic Jesse Katsopolis on the sitcom "Full House."
John's first professional role was as Blackie Parrish on the popular soap opera "General Hospital" in 1993. He rose to fame during the late ‘80s for his role as Jesse Katsopolis on "Full House," which ran for seven years from 1987 until 1995. He went on to star in television movies like "Wedding Wars," where he played a gay wedding planner, and "A Raisin in the Sun," based on the play by Lorraine Hansberry.
His most recent role is as Connor McClane on USA's "Necessary Roughness.” Along with acting on television programs and in films and theatre, John is a successful musician, occasionally playing alongside legendary rock band "The Beach Boys."
John currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
