WhoSay is seeking a Android Developer to work with our growing team of software engineers in our dynamic, rapidly expanding organization. You will work with a talented group of individuals to implement our growing application platform. You will also be responsible for developing new product features and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have experience building world class, engaging Android experiences and be comfortable working in a fast moving startup environment. The candidate should also have a passion for mobile and take a creative approach to their work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop cutting edge consumer Android experiences.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers and backend developers to implement and evolve the WhoSay suite of products.
  • Ability to accurately estimate development time and meet deadlines while working with a team.
  • Use Android expertise to help guide design and engineering decision making.
  • Be comfortable picking up and learning new technologies and new software SDKs.

Your Background

  • B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of consumer facing mobile experiences.
  • 3+ Years of experience with Java and/or C++.
  • Solid understanding of the intricacies of the Android platform.
  • Experience using JavaScript to implement full application stacks. Technologies include backbone, handlebars, Router, HTML5.
  • Knowledge and experience working with REST APIs including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Excellence in problem solving and balancing quick turnarounds with long-term quality.
  • Experience using XML and JSON as messaging formats.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.

Web Developer

WhoSay is seeking a web developer to work with our growing team of software engineers in our dynamic, rapidly expanding organization. You will work with a talented group of individuals to implement our growing application platform. You will also be responsible for developing new product features and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale applications and massive traffic. You should have experience working with web and JavaScript frameworks and feel comfortable working on front-end pages with AJAX calls implementing business rules and logic.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive and elegant cross-platform functionality for our web applications while actively contributing to the overall design and architecture of our web platform.
  • Ability to accurately estimate development time and meet deadlines while working with a team.
  • Debugging and Platform/Browser compatibility testing.
  • Be comfortable picking up and learning new technologies and new software SDKs.

Your Background

  • B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 3-8 years experience programming with an object-oriented language.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX technologies.
  • Experience using JavaScript to implement full application stacks. Technologies include backbone, handlebars, Router, HTML5.
  • Working knowledge of REST Web Services.
  • Excellence in problem solving and balancing quick turnarounds with long-term quality.
  • Experience using XML and JSON as messaging formats.
  • Experience working with JQuery and/or Yahoo YUI widgets desirable but not required.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

  • Quality assurance of a web application.
  • Working with the development team from planning through release.
  • Transforming business requirements into test plans and cases.
  • Active involvement in the evolution of our processes.

Skills & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience testing web based applications.
  • Experience with the automation of front end testing (Selenium, JMeter etc).
  • Preparation of test plans, test data and test environments.
  • Regression testing, end-to-end testing, functionality testing, integration testing and performance testing.
  • Well-founded knowledge of testing frameworks for both Java and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  • Desire to continually develop and improve your skills.
  • You possess a solution driven thought process with excellent communication skills.
