Isabelle Fuhrman Snapshot
Isabelle Fuhrman (Clove) has already made a
name for herself as a talented young actor
after appearing in several feature films. She
most recently appeared in an all-star
ensemble cast that included Pierce Brosnan,
Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Marisa Tomei
and Greg Kinnear in this summer’s dark
comedy “Salvation Boulevard.” In 2009,
Isabelle starred opposite Vera Farmiga and
Peter Sarsgaard in the 2009 hit, Warner Bros
psychological thriller “Orphan.”

Isabelle’s starring role in the film, as
eccentric Esther, earned her rave reviews
from movie critics in the U.S. and around the
world. Her performance was hailed
as “awards-worthy” and “one of the most
momentous examples of acting from a child
performer in years.”

Isabelle was cast through an exhaustive
nationwide search of young actresses to
portray the lead in the Warner Bros.
collaboration between Leonardo DiCaprio’s
Appian Way and Joel Silver’s Dark Castle
Entertainment.

Isabelle, who lives in Los Angeles, started her acting career at the age of seven, appearing on Cartoon Network’s “Cartoon Fridays.” She made her big screen debut in the drama “Hounddog.” On television, Isabelle guest-starred on the CBS hit series “Ghost Whisperer,” for which she was nominated for the Young Artist Award and ABC
drama “The Whole Truth” where she played an autistic teen who witnessed a murder.

She has acted in dozens of commercials and has lent her voice to a number of projects, including this year’s 3D animated feature “Sammy’s Adventures: The Secret Passage,” Nickelodeon series “Winx” and many others. Isabelle also appeared in several comedy skits on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Isabelle is a skilled guitar player and singer. In her spare time she loves playing with
her dogs, enjoys hanging out with her friends, painting, gourmet cooking and baking,
building sand castles on the beach and rollerblading. Isabelle and her older sister,
Madeline, enjoy singing and songwriting together.
