Currently, she is the host of the highest rated reality show on Univision “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” as well as the red carpet for the most important Latin events including the “Latin Grammys” and “Premio Lo Nuestro,” as well as of “Historias Para Contar,” a 60-‐minute type show where she conducts the most exclusive interviews with the biggest celebrities in the Latin entertainment industry such as Juanes, Vicente Fernandez, Thalia, amongst many others.
Recently she was amongst the Latin celebrities recently invited to the White House to speak with congressmen and was the host of the Hispanic Heritage Awards in Washington D.C. She also starred in the highly acclaimed series “Mujeres Asesinas.”
She began her career as an actress in her native Puerto Rico, to then become nationally known in the U.S. when she joined Univision’s morning show “Despierta America,” for which she was part of for eight years. She also wrote an inspirational book called “Con Los Pies en la Tierra,” that instantly became part of the list of the bestsellers.
Blondet has done campaigns for brands such as Got Milk, Dove, K-‐Mart Pharmacy and Minute Maid and appeared on the cover of many magazines including Cosmopolitan, Vanidades, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Buenhogar, Caras, Selecta, People en Español, among others. A dedicated humanitarian, she forms part of the celebrity cabinet of the American Red Cross, supports Operation Smile, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, NAAR, and is the godmother of the San Jorge hospital in Puerto Rico.
Giselle resides in Miami and has three children.
