Giorgio Chiellini is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Juventus F.C. and the Italian national team.
Giorgio began playing in youth football teams from the age of six. In 2004, he was signed with Juventus and Fiorentina, where he played during the 2004-05 Serie A season. He also began playing for the Italian national team that same year and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. Despite various game-related injuries, Giorgio assisted the Italian national team in both the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.
He is currently known as one of the best centre backs in Europe, winning second place in the UEFA European Football Championship in 2012 and third place in the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013.
