Many words come to mind when describing Mónica Fonseca, but one summons it all: visionary.

She is the first Colombian television host to successfully transition from the off-line media world to the online media Universe. With over one million followers in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook combined; Mónica has taken advantage of what Social Media offers by becoming an important influence in the Digital Realm.

Mónica or “Monkey” was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Bogotá at a young age with her family. She went to school for Political Science, but was lured to discover her true passion: broadcasting media.

Among her day-to-day activities are hosting her latest show “#TanCosmo” on, co-hosting Conectados on CNET en español, and weekly guest appearances on Univision’s ¡Despierta América!

Mónica likes to be involved in projects that help others to look and feel better about themselves; this passion motivated her to become the spokesperson for Instafit, where beauty and health meet technology, as well as cofounding the online beauty store, Fancybox.

Mónica Fonseca or @fonsecamonica has worked in the most important TV and Radio Networks of her native Colombia, as well as hosting and co-hosting, “Show Business Extra” on V-me, “Travel and Living” on Discovery Channel Latino America, “#TanCosmo” on Cosmopolitan TV and “Project Runway Latino America” on Glitz. Besides her work as a Radio and TV personality, she is also the Environmental Ambassador and the Spokeswoman for “Objectivos del Milenio” for the United Nations, the AUDI ambassador, model and mom.

Her accolades include an India Catalina Award and Shock Award for “Best Commercial Radio Voice”. Mónica has been the cover for renowned publications such as Infashion Magazine, Hola, Aló Mujeres, JetSet, Bocas, Fucsia, Caras, Revista Viernes, among others.

She is married to actor Juan Pablo Raba, and together have a son, Joaquín Raba, who is the face for Huggies and Coquí in Colombia. Mónica is represented by Latin We.
