Emma Watson is an actress who rose to international fame for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” series of films.
Emma knew she wanted to be an actress from a very young age. She trained in acting, dancing, and singing at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts, going on to perform in their productions and school plays. Her first professional role came in 1999 when she began filming "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in the role of precocious muggle-born Hermione Granger. Emma's talent grew with each successive "Harry Potter" installment, skyrocketing her to worldwide prominence. She has continued to gain popularity in her roles after "Harry Potter," starring in the 2012 dramedy "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and the 2013 film "The Bling Ring."
In addition to acting, Emma has found success in modeling, landing a campaign with Burberry for the Autumn/Winter season of 2009. Emma attended Brown University for nearly two years, but chose to return to London to continue her studies at Oxford University.
