I’m Midwest city-chic mixed with a country girl heart. I’ve been singing, dancing, and performing since I could first walk. Growing up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, I was always singing in my church choir. Today, you can find me riding around Nashville on summer nights with my top-down, blasting Faith Hill. I may not be Southern born-and-bred, but country music was the anthem to my childhood. I fondly remember my childhood summers at my Great Grandpa Al’s house in Iowa, where Hank Williams was always blasting on the radio. Even now, I can hear my Grandpa Al smiling at me and saying, ”It's a good OLD world!”
I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason. Like Grandpa Al, I also truly believe that we live in a “good old world”; that God is good; that life is what you make of it; and that you must find the positive in every challenging experience. I think this is the true meaning of country music: taking profound experiences like love and life and loss and finding the beauty in them. Things happen the way they are supposed to. Everything will work out if you just have a little patience, a little music, and a little faith.
I write songs about my life, but I hope that you are able to find some connections to your personal experiences in my music. My first EP is filled with six songs I wrote from the heart. Like me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, and follow my videos on YouTube. I want to hear from YOU! I hope you join me in this incredible journey. I’ll cheer you along on your firsts if you cheer me on as well. Hey…we’re both in each other’s lives for a reason!
