BIOGRAPHY

Elissa Sursara is a wildlife expert and journalist working on behalf of endangered species, threatened habitats and all animals in crisis.

Collaborating with some of the world's top environmental advocacy organisations, Elissa builds political, scientific and social support for important species and their habitats.

She is the ambassador for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the WWF's Earth Hour, WSPA's Voices of Influence, 1% for the Planet and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors among other organizations, and acts as a spokesperson for a number of environmental issues affecting wildlife, including deforestation, climate change and poaching.
