Eddie Izzard is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer known for playing Wayne Malloy on the television show “The Riches” and Roman Nagel in “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Ocean’s Thirteen.”
From childhood, Eddie knew that he wanted to be an actor. After studying comedy at the University of Sheffield, he took his act to the streets of London. From there, Eddie took stand-up comedy gigs at many local venues, and eventually won a British Comedy Award in 1993 for his performance at "Live at the Ambassadors.” His first US-produced film was "The Secret Agent," which was based on the book of the same name. Eddie gained popularity for HBO's "Dress to Kill," for which he won two Emmy Awards in 2000.
Since the 1990s, he has worked successfully in many theatre, film, and television programs such as "Velvet Goldmine," "Across the Universe," "Valkyrie," and "The Riches."
