Damn, I have put some serious mileage on these heels. Who knew that a few plastic bowls could take me on the adventure of a lifetime. 750 shows and 5 countries later, my jaw is wide open with disbelief with the fun I've had and the people I have been lucky enough to meet.
I am truly grateful to have been in cities far and wide, big and small, and in the company of some of the most neighborly theater people as well as audience members who embrace me and tell me that they giggled like never before. There is something rather gratifying in making someone my Grandma's age, with a spark in her eye, say, "I will never think of Tupperware the same way again." It makes me all tingly to know that I have put a smile on someone's face.
To all the people who have embraced me, to all the theater folk that have been kind enough to take me in like a stray cat, to all the raffle winners, rimming race participants, Tupperware purchasers, and everyone else, I just got a new pair of heels and I'm just getting started.
You ain't seen nothing yet!!
