BIOGRAPHY

Born in Hollywood, Cody moved to Santa Monica eight years later, where she has lived ever since. As one of four girls in her family of six, Cody found her identity through her love of acting and performing for others.

Cody's ambition was clearly unstoppable to everyone around her from very early on. After participating in numerous school plays, Cody's thirst for acting only grew as she realized her fervor for performing, and portraying characters. At 13-years-old, she was discovered by a manager that placed her in acting classes with some of the top acting coaches in the business.

Cody's very first acting jobs included appearing in Jon McLaughlin's 2006 "Beautiful Disaster" music video which quickly segued into making cameos in videos for top artists such as Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, Esmee Denters, T. Mills, Jackson Harris, Kevin McCullough, Leona Lewis, to name a few. She has booked several national commercials for top companies including McDonald's, Sears, and Red Bull. From music videos and commercials, she transitioned smoothly into modeling, and in 2009 modeled in Fashion Week for designers Chelsea Rebelle and The Battalion, which led to a feature in Nylon Magazine. She was the Box Eight LA Fashion Week Host, and hosted additional Young Hollywood shows at the Los Angeles Theatre.

In addition, Cody has done modeling campaigns for Volcom, Violent Lips, StampD'LA, Raw Girls, Purlieu, Daily Doses, Native American Vintage, Jayro White, Sarah Jessica Parker's clothing line Bitten, Puma, Nike, and Eastpack. Cody has been seen in numerous publications nationally and internationally including being chosen as NYLON magazine's October "It Girl" alongside Zooey Deschanel, Brillia Girl Magazine (Japan), Prim Magazine, COCO Magazine (Cover), ELLE Girl Magazine (Japan), Salon City Magazine (US), Glamoholic Magazine (6 page pictorial), Cliché Magazine (Cover), ELLE Magazine (France) Teen Vogue, Vogue (France and Germany) and more.

On the television and film front, Cody gained a strong tween following when she guest starred on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck", playing the coveted role of the Junior Chess Champion of Russia, Sasha Matryoshka. She has appeared on different comedic mini-series like Madden Girl and This is Fashion. However she is best known in television for her recurring role on A&E's "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."

Recently Cody worked with Anchorman's David Koachner and David Hasselhoff in John Gulager's Piranha 3DD, where she parodies herself as a feisty lifeguard. Not to mention Cody captivated audiences with her dynamic roles in the short films like Parallel Misdirection, Fully Integrated, Consumed, The Proposition, and Out of Focus. She also writes and produces her own projects.

In her latest film, Memoria, Cody co-stars alongside James Franco and Thomas Mann in an edgy coming of age story. She plays the role of Natasha Illichev, the dark object of the desire. The film is set to be released early 2014.
