Cheyenne Jackson is an actor and singer who is best known for his work on Broadway, in the film "United 93," and the television series "30 Rock" and "Glee."
Cheyenne first acted in local theater productions of "West Side Story," "Hair," "Carousel," "Damn Yankees," and "The Rocky Horror Show." He made his Broadway debut in 2002 as the understudy to both male leads in the Tony Award-winning musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie." Cheyenne gained recognition for his role as Chad in the Elvis Presley tribute musical "All Shook Up," winning the Theatre World Award and nominations for the Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Awards. His most recent stage role was alongside Henry Winkler and Alicia Silverstone in David West Read's "The Performers."
Cheyenne's most significant film role was as Mark Bingham in the Academy Award-nominated "United 93," based upon the September 11th terrorist attacks. He also starred in "Lola Versus" in 2012, and HBO's biopic of Liberace, "Behind the Candelabra," with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. Cheyenne had a recurring role as Danny Baker on NBC's hit comedy "30 Rock" from 2009 until 2013. He also appeared as voice coach Dustin Goolsby in Fox's Glee. Cheyenne has guest starred in numerous popular television series, including "Lipstick Jungle," "Ugly Betty," and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
In addition to acting in theatre, film, and television, Cheyenne is a successful musician. First working as a backup singer for Vanessa Williams and Liza Minnelli, he has since released singles such as "Drive" in "Before You" in 2012.
