Channing Tatum is an actor who is best known for his roles in “Magic Mike,” “Dear John,” and “Step Up.”
Channing's first professional appearance was as a dancer in Ricky Martin's 2000 music video "She Bangs." He went on to model in the fashion industry for high-profile clients like Armani and Abercrombie & Fitch. From there, he performed in national commercials for Mountain Dew and Pepsi, and was subsequently signed with a modelling agency in Miami in 2002, continuing to model for Nautica, Dolce & Gabbana, and American Eagle Outfitters. Channing gained popularity during his first major motion picture role as Tyler Gage in the 2006 dance film, "Step Up," where he met his future wife, Jenna Dewan.
Channing has since appeared in blockbusters such as “Stop-Loss,” “21 Jump Street,” and “White House Down,” starring Jamie Foxx. He has co-created two production companies, 33andOut Productions and Iron Horse Entertainment. His first film production was a documentary titled "Earth Made of Glass," which premiered at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
Channing and Jenna Dewan became engaged in 2008 and were married on July 11, 2009 in Malibu, California. Their first daughter, Everly, was born on May 31, 2013.
