    Haiti prepares to honor the 210th anniversary of its flag on Saturday, May 18! The red and blue colors of the Haitian flag symbolize strength in unity, referencing the moment when separate freedom fighters joined forces in the quest to become the first independent black republic. To celebrate, tomorrow the youth from the J/P community center, Kay Kominote, and 15 schools throughout Delmas 32 will parade with several local bands providing musical accompaniment. Watch for pictures next week! Happy Flag Day!
