Tell Carrie Ann Inaba you like this

November 1, 2012Meet Jinx (A1352763), a Super-sweet, Super-size white DECLAW who has a sad story to tell.
His former family got a dog and did not introduce he and Jinx in the proper way. They also allowed the dog to chase and bother Jinx. Not knowing why his life had taken a turn for the worse, and with no support from his family, he started over-eating. His family tired of the animals not getting along, so they dumped Jinx into the shelter without a second thought.
Jinx is a beautiful white neutered male and he is deaf. Not being able to hear has not stopped him from living a normal cat life, he is extremely affectionate with people and he gets along fine with other cats. He is big (25 lbs) and very cuddly - he loves to sit on laps and you can pick him up and carry him around.
He's a real lover-boy, with everyone but dogs. He will be a wonderful cat for a family or a great companion for someone. Jinx is 10 years old, but still likes to play with toys and enjoys the occasional cat treat.
(He needs to lose a few lbs, but then, who doesn't???)
He has been at the West Valley Shelter since Oct 21 and needs to get out right away. Because the cages at the shelters are so small, Jinx is not in the cat room, so no one who comes to adopt can see him, unless they know he is there and ask to see him. (He is kept in the medical area where there are bigger cages.) As of today, he's healthy but he needs to be rescued or adopted quickly.

If you can save Jinx, but need bail, transport, short term ISO, please contact Cindy Paul (818) 605-6873. Or you can call West Valley at (818) 756-9325.
