June 19, 2012Anyone that lives near the South LA Shelter should check out these three kitties!

First up is Mindi, her impound# is A1314577. Here is some information on Mindi:
Brown Tabby, 2 years, spayed female, 9 lb.
Mindi is a love-bug little tiger tabby with gray, black and faint brown markings, and a white chest and chin and large soulful, yellow-green eyes. She has absolutely gorgeous markings! She came into the shelter with her kitten, who was adopted, and she was left behind. She's quiet and calm and is seeking home where she will be able to hang out, sit on a lap and enjoy the good life. She was very talkative and affectionate, and likes attention and will do well with other cats. She will be a wonderful companion to a lucky family. No dogs, please. She has been at the shelter since June 2 - Needs OUT now!

Up next is Mawa, his impound# is A1316994. Here is some information on Mawa:
Black Cat, 1 1/2 yrs, male, 11 lbThe next talk-show host! Mawa is a talker and will keep you entertained with his tales! When we opened his cage door to pet him he showed his appreciation by talking and rubbing up against us and trying to get out onto our laps. He's the type cat who will follow you around, wanting to be involved in all the activities of the house. Mawa even stretched his paw out to touch or grab us to get our attention, while looking us straight in the eye, as if to say, "c'mon, what is this event I am at? He's looking forward to some good food, regular brushing and lots of TLC in his new home. Once you meet Mawa, he will mesmerize you with his piercing yellow eyes and affectionate nature. He's got a big personality and people will fall in love as we all did. No dogs, please. Mawa has been at the shelter since June 11, is on the New Hope RED LIST, and Needs OUT NOW!

Last but certainly not least is little Bella, her impound# is A1314673. Here is information on beautiful Bella:
Brown Tiger Tabby kitten, 2 months, female 3 lb
Beautiful Bella played with another kitten, climbing the cage and hanging from the top, batting the ball around, and wrestling until both collapsed in sheer exhaustion, then she fell asleep with her head in the food bowl! Such a silly girl! She then awoke to meet her public, showing her calm, sweet side, laying upside down in the lap of a potential adopter, purring while they gently caressed her tummy. Bella would certainly benefit from joining a family with other cats in the home to socialize and play with. She's adorable and fun and will liven up the house! She's been at the shelter since June 3 and Needs OUT now!
