Bitsie Tulloch Snapshot
As beautiful as she is talented, Bitsie Tulloch graces the big and small screen with captivating performances that speak to her versatility.

Tulloch currently stars as the female lead on NBC's hit drama, Grimm. The dark fantastical series about a world in which characters inspired by the Grimm's Fairy Tales exist, returns this fall for its second season. The series was created by David Greenwalt (Buffy, Angel) and Jim Kouf (Ghost Whisperer, Angel). Tulloch plays Juliette Silverton, the love interest of Nick Burckhart, played by David Giuntoli.

On the big screen, Tulloch most recently starred in the family drama Caroline and Jackie opposite Marguerite Moreau. She also co-produced the film which debuted to rave reviews at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. In 2011, Tulloch was seen in the black and white silent film The Artist with Jean Dujardin, Bérénice Bejo, John Goodman and James Cromwell. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Tulloch was nominated alongside her castmates for a Critics Choice Award for Best Ensemble Cast.

Tulloch's additional film credits include Neil LaBute's Lakeview Terrace with Samuel L Jackson, Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson; the independent feature Riding the Pine; Uncross the Stars with Barbara Hershey and Ron Perlman; Antigone opposite Keith Carradine; and the romantic comedy Losing Control. She also voiced one of the characters in the animated feature Alpha and Omega, along with Hayden Panetierre, Justin Long, and Dennis Hopper.

On television, Tulloch previously starred as Dylan on Ed Zwick's NBC's drama series, quarterlife. First created as an online series, quarterlife explored the lives of six creative twenty-somethings trying to find their way in the world. Tulloch led the cast as a journalist who perplexes friends over her revelatory video blog. Her additional television credits include a recurring role on Outlaw and guest starring roles on such shows as House, The West Wing, Cold Case, Lost, and Moonlight. She also had a recurring role in the online serial lonelygirl15.

Tulloch's theater credits include performances of Oleanna, Hamlet and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, as well as the Pico Playhouse production of Quarterlife, a performance that garnered her an LA Weekly Theater Award nomination.

The actress' first professional role came about during a trip to Sydney, just before her sophomore year in college, when she was cast as R2D2's girlfriend in R2D2Beneath the Domea mockumentary written and produced by George Lucas.

Tulloch is an active participant and celebrity representative for the Corazon de Vida Foundation. She helps raise funds for the cause, visits orphanages in Tijuana, and has appeared on CNN in support of the foundation. She also volunteers with the Disabled American Veterans Foundation (DAV), visiting veterans battling serious medical conditions and disabilities.

Born in San Diego, California, Tulloch spent her formative years living overseas in Spain, Uruguay and Argentina until she landed in New York for middle and high school. She attended Harvard University and graduated Magna cum laude with a double major in Literature and Fine Arts. Tulloch currently lives in Los Angeles.
