Benjamin Stockham Snapshot
Benjamin Stockham was destined to be an actor. Born in La Mesa, California and raised in nearby Santee, Benjamin’s foray into the acting world brought him success early on. From his very first audition for a horror film called Quarantine, where he later booked a small but memorable role, Benjamin impressed the director with his drive and desire to work.

With a successful film debut under his belt, Benjamin obtained an agent and booked a national commercial for the investment firm Fidelity, which still airs today. Since then, he has gone on to appear in a number of commercials that have aired across the U.S. More roles on the small screen followed, including memorable guest-star appearances on hit television shows including CSI: New York, Criminal Minds and the crime drama Rizzoli and Isles, where he played the son of a shooting victim.

Benjamin’s big break came at age 9 when he landed the role of Robby Gunderson, opposite Frank Dolce and Matthew Levy on Fox’s Sons of Tucson.
Benjamin has continued to tackle exciting projects that showcase the depth of his talent and 2012 promises to be his year.

He stars in the lead role of Albert, a young boy who is battling cancer, in the upcoming drama Simon Says. In Decoding Annie Parker Benjamin played Young William, a boy who is forced to watch his mother’s battle with cancer lead to the demise of his parent’s marriage. Benjamin also starred as the lead character Zach Logan in the film Saving Santa. The story follows the adventures of a brother and sister who finds Santa stripped of his magic by a politician trying to keep people from believing that he exists.

Benjamin’s next role is a return to the small screen in the highly anticipated NBC pilot 1600 Penn, joining the cast opposite Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman. Benjamin stars in the comedy as Xander Gilchrist, the youngest, most rebellious child in a First Family struggling to strike a balance between its complicated dynamics and leading the free world.

At a young age Benjamin has shown a unique ability to succeed in both comedic and dramatic roles. Whether he is playing someone battling a serious illness or a young boy on a rebellious streak, Benjamin has proven that he has the chops to enjoy a long and prosperous career in Hollywood.

In addition to acting Benjamin is a proud member of his school’s Dean’s Honor Role, a distinction he earned while maintaining a busy work schedule. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys drawing and has become quite the artist. His talent has not gone unnoticed, as he was recently asked to illustrate a children’s book. He also likes to ride his scooter and he has an affinity for card games.
